About Us:
High Country Friends For Life works diligently to save the lives of homeless animals. We are a foster only rescue, and we are always in need of foster homes for our dogs and cats. Without these homes we cannot save the animals.
We started saving animals from our local animal control over seven years ago. The euthanasia rate was about 90% at that time. Most animals that wind up at an animal control facility do not make it out alive.
Thank God that many animal control officers are now working hard to save these animals, but the numbers are overwhelming!
High Country Friends For Life saves hundreds of lives every year, but not without the help of concerned citizens.

Our vet bills are overwhelming, and we need your help! Please donate, and help us save them! Many times we help families that are unable to pay for their pet's medical care. We must have help to do this.
We encourage you to please spay and neuter your pets!
The animals are paying a terrible price as millions are euthanized each year. This will never end until people realize that is absolutely necessary to spay and neuter! It is ridiculous to breed unless you are a licensed and responsible breeder with a spay /neuter contract. Help put an end to the senseless killing.
